Concept
Crypsis is an American band from Southern California whose music is mainly classified as Punk/Ska. The band was in need of a design for their new album titled “They Don’t Have Class”, along with promotional material for the launch which included a tour poster and a social media banner.
For this project the goal was to take a set of randomly generated assets and create an album cover design using those assets in a creative way. In extension, I also needed to create a background to the band's image and the type of music that they would likely play. Taking the time to explore and create a background to the band further helped the final design of the project. The project tested my critical thinking skills, and my creativity in working with a set of raw assets in order to create a brand for the band.
